BIBLICAL PASSOVER TRUTH

This section details the path to follow (Isaiah 48:17) to create the First Month of the Biblical Year that the Passover and Resurrection of Jesus occurred; based solely upon the Truth revealed in the Word of God - the Bible.

Prerequisites to understand the inspired Word of Truth:

ACCEPT JESUS. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED.  “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38).

STUDY THE WORD OF GOD. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). This cannot be over emphasized: READ YOUR BIBLE.

OBEY GOD’S COMMANDMENTS. “Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him” (Deuteronomy 13:4).

Foundational Knowledge:

A DAY is simply one complete cycle from darkness (night/evening) followed by lightness (day/morning) until darkness (night/evening) is observed again. The word DAY has two meanings as it defines one complete cycle and the period of lightness. (Genesis 1:1-5)

Each DAY begins and ends at sunset. The universal time on the entire earth for the start of each DAY is at the observed sunset in Jerusalem, Israel (Temple Mount) and ends on the next observed sunset there [“Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth”. (Luke 11:2)].

A WEEK consists of seven DAYS, six DAYS of work, one DAY of rest/worship (Genesis 1:1-31 to 2:1-3). “Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings” (Leviticus 23:3).

A MONTH is measured from the observation of the first visible appearance of the New Moon, a narrow crescent shape, to its next visible appearance. “Observe the month of Abib” (Deuteronomy 16:1). The appearance of the New Moon must align with the springtime ripening of the grain in Israel.

Most, if not all, that read this will believe and claim that Jesus’s Passover and crucifixion was on a Wednesday or a Friday. If you are of this belief, you are challenged to “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good”. (1Thessalonians 5:21) Take the time to critically read your faith’s doctrines and source all their claims back to the Truth revealed in the Word of God – the Bible. If you don’t find a basis for their claims in the Bible, are you following the word of a Man over the Word of God? A few hints and revelations:

The concept of Passover on Wednesday, the 4th day of the Biblical week, was NOT based on any Truth revealed in the Word of God - the Bible; but declared by a Man based on information derived from a Hebrew/Jewish Calendar and historical records that were both of Man’s creation. The basis of the origins of Passover on Friday, the 6th day of the Biblical week, is by a decree of Man with complete disregard for the Truth revealed in the Word of God - the Bible. Man declared that the observance of Passover is on the Thursday/Friday prior to the first Sunday after the first full moon, on or after the northward equinox. Read here.

What should be a dead giveaway exposing the depiction is both groups that believe the Passover is on either a Wednesday or Friday proclaim Jesus’s resurrection is on their declared Sabbath day, Saturday or Sunday. To assert that God performed work and resurrected Jesus on the Sabbath is to also proclaim that God is a hypocrite since He violated His own commandment, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” (Exodus 20:8).

It should be made perfectly clear that these writings will show that Passover and Jesus’s crucifixion was on the 5^th day of the Biblical week, on the 14^th day of the first month (Abib) of the Biblical New Year. That Jesus was resurrected early in the morning on the first day of the Biblical week, a full three days (72 hours) after His death on the cross. It should also be made perfectly clear that these writings are based solely on the Truth revealed in the Word of God – the Bible. The reader is encouraged to “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good”. (1Thessalonians 5:21)

Lastly, it is recommended to the reader to review “Six Days Before the Passover” as it determines that the Passover is on the 5^th day of the Biblical week using the Biblical events prior to the Passover; again based solely on Truth revealed in the Word of God – the Bible.

Read closely and follow the steps outlined below to create the first month (Abib) of the Biblical New Year, during the year of Jesus’s Passover, crucifixion, and resurrection:

Step 1. Review the Biblical texts of the Resurrection DAY.

• Select a verse (Review: Matthew 28:1-16, Mark 16:1-13, Luke 24:1-27, John 20:1-18) that is the most descriptive and clear to you that includes the phrase “first day of the week”. Example:
  • Mark 16:9, “Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.”
• On a blank piece of paper, draw out rows of empty boxes with eight columns.
• Add only what is revealed from the Word of God. In one row add your selected verse, this is the proof. Add a heading of its meaning – Resurrection.
• In a separate row, add the Day of the week identified in the verse (“first day” is “Day 1”).
• Add a row with Night and Day markers as defined for a Biblical Day.
• If you like add a heading to your page and its verse of proof.
• Understand: You now know with absolute surety the DAY of the Week of the Resurrection by the Word of God. You do not know the numerical DAY of the month, but that will be revealed if you follow the path and Walk with Christ.

Step 2. Add what is revealed through knowledge of the Word of God.

• You know the position of Day 1 of the Biblical Week – label the proceeding Days of the Biblical Week – Day 1 through Day 7.
• You now know the position of the 7^th Day of the Biblical Week – the Sabbath, add its heading (Sabbath), add a verse of proof, example:
  • Exodus 20:10, “But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work.”
• Understand: You now know with absolute surety the 7^th Day of the Biblical Week - the Sabbath and its correct position throughout the entire calendar Year to observe the Sabbath during Jesus’s time. You do not know the numerical Day of the Month, but that will be revealed if you follow the path and Walk with Christ.

Step 3. Draw a box equal in length, to the length of three complete Days, 72 hours.

• Label and place the box on your page based on the Word of GOD that was revealed in the verse of proof for Day 1 – example: “early the first day”. It matters not its exact placement as long as the end of the box is in the proximity of “early the first day” of your Night marker for Day 1.
• Add your verse of proof, example:
  • John 2:19, “Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
• Understand: You now know with absolute surety that there are two Days, prior to Day 7, the 7^th Day of the Biblical Week – the Sabbath.

Step 4. Add the next two Days which have to be the Passover Day and the first Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

• The Word of God reveals the Day of the Passover and the Days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread in clarity in Moses’s time. (Review: Exodus 12:1-20 Leviticus 23:1-8 Numbers 28:16-25)
• Select the Passover Day verse that is the most descriptive and clear to you, example:
  • Numbers 28:16, “And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the Lord.”
• Add the verse of proof and a heading label, example Passover. As Passover is identified as a “Feast of the Lord”, label that also.
• Understand: That Passover is declared a “Feast” of the Lord and is NOT a Holy Convocation Day – a Sabbath.
• Add another row and label that Day as Abib 14 as it is the “fourteenth day of the first month”.
• Understand: The verse text, “fourteenth day” exactly matches the numerical Day of the Month - Abib 14 by the Word of God.
• As you now know the numerical monthly Day is Abib 14, label the other Days in the same row.
• Add the first Day of the Feast Of Unleavened Bread, a Holy Convocation Day – a Sabbath, verse that is the most descriptive and clear to you, example:
  • Numbers 28:17, “And in the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.”

• Understand: The verse text, “fifteenth day” exactly matches the numerical Day of the Month - Abib 15 by the Word of God.
• Label the first Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread as a Holy Convocation Day – a Sabbath, in the same header row.
• Label the following Days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, in the same header row, by their numbered Day – example: Feast of Unleavened Bread Day 1, Feast of Unleavened Bread Day 2, etc.

Step 5. Add the Hour of Darkness and Death.

• Select the Hour of Darkness verse (Review: Matthew 27:45 Mark 15:33 Luke 23:44) that is the most descriptive and clear to you, example:
  • Matthew 27:45, “Now from the sixth hour (12PM) there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour (3PM).” (xxPM - Added for clarity, not part of original text.)
• Add the verse of proof, a 12PM Darkness label, and intersection line at ~12PM on Abib 14, the fourteenth day of the first month.
• Select the Hour of Death verses (Review: Matthew 27:46-50 Mark 15:34-37 Luke 23:44-46) that is the most descriptive and clear to you, example:
  • Matthew 27:46, “And about the ninth hour (3PM) Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (3PM - Added for clarity, not part of original text.)
  • Matthew 27:50, “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.”
• Add the verse of proof, a ~3PM Death label, and intersection line at ~3PM on Abib 14, the fourteenth day of the first month.
• Adjust the “3 Days – 72 Hours” box to start at the intersection line of the ~3PM hour of death intersection line. Label the end of the box 3PM.
• Add a Risen at ~3AM label and intersection line that represents 12 hours prior to the end of the box at 3PM on Day 1. These 12 hours represent the 12 hours inserted by God during Joshua times (Joshua 10:12-14) that shifted Moses’s Passover midnight (12AM) time to Jesus’s Passover midday (12PM) time and was reclaimed by God, unknown to man, when the prophecy was fulfilled at the death of Jesus at ~3PM on the fourteenth day of the first month.

Step 6. Determine the placement of the first numerical DAY of the Month Abib.

• Add rows of boxes above the Day of the Biblical Week row, from Day 1 to Day 7, in calendrical form.
• Label each box with the appropriate numerical Day of the Month of Abib.
• Understand: The first Day of this month of Abib is on the 6^th Day of the Biblical Week.
• Highlight; make each Day that is the 7^th Day of the Biblical Week, the Sabbath standout.
• Understand: The position of the 7^th Day of the Biblical Week, the Sabbath, has with absolute clarity been revealed by the Word of God for observance throughout the entire Year of Jesus’s Passover and resurrection. “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy” (Exodus 20:8).
• Add any relevant text in Day 1 through Day 4, which further clarifies understanding.
• Use the information revealed and create a standard full month calendar depicting as many of the events of Jesus’s Passover Month of Abib you desire – see example further below.

Understand: The following statement of Jesus is the Truth and is Fulfilled:

And Jesus said, the whole world and all nations shall be deceived. (Revelation 12:9 Revelation 18:23).

Understand: The purpose of the deceptions is for Man to lose God’s grace and keep Mankind in a state of sin - “for the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23). By not observing God’s Passover, Feasts, Sabbaths and other Holy Days at their appointed times All are violating God’s commandments. The deceptions are intended to keep All from God by their own free-will choices and actions.

Understand: The Passover of Jesus is on the 14^th Day of the first Month (Abib) of the Biblical New Year.

Understand: The Passover of Jesus is on the 5^th Day of the Biblical Week.

Understand: That Jesus died on the cross at ~3PM on the 14^th Day of the first Month (Abib) and was resurrected three Days (72 hours) later at ~3AM on first Day of the Biblical Week.

Understand: That the count of three Days (72 hours) began at that point of Jesus’s death on the cross and the count finished at the time of Jesus’s resurrection.

Understand: That the Biblical Day that follows Passover on the 15^th Day of Abib is the first Day of Feast of Unleavened Bread, a Holy Convocation Day – a Sabbath Day.

Understand: That the Biblical Day that follows the 15^th Day of Abib which is the first Day of Feast of Unleavened Bread is the 7^th Day of the Biblical Week – the Sabbath. Understand there were two consecutive Sabbath Days.

Understand: That Jesus was resurrected on the first Day of the Biblical Week in fulfillment of All Prophecies.

Understand: That the first Day of the Biblical Week was also the Feast of Firstfruits that occurs after the Sabbaths.

Understand: Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15)

Understand: You now have knowledge of the Deception of All. The Truth has been revealed to You. Choose who You will follow.

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law (Deuteronomy 29:29)

This was written with a sense of deep urgency and foreboding. Any and all errors or interpretations contained herein are by my imperfect hand and abilities alone. I strove to withhold any of my opinions and biases, and only reveal the World of God in an organized method that illustrates His revealed Truth as written in the Bible. I attempted to reference relevant texts as proof, and might have chosen incorrectly due to my unfamiliarity. The Truths revealed herein, I did not know beforehand of these writings.
