It Is Finished

Jesus Died on the cross in fulfillment of all prophecies at about 3PM on the 14th day of the month of Abib, Passover Day. This is TODAY, about 4PM as observed in Jerusalem, Israel, on 28 March 2021.

How is one to know if this statement is the Truth?

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” [1Thessalonians 5:21]

In the Bible, the Word of God states:

Numbers 28:16 – And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the Lord.

So by the absolute Truth of the Word of God we know without a doubt that the "passover of the Lord" is on the "fourteenth day of the first month". But what is the "first month"

In the Bible, the Word of God states:

Exodus 12:2 - This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

Exodus 13:4 - This day came ye out in the month Abib.

So by the absolute Truth of the Word of God we know without a doubt that the "first month" is the month of Abib. Abib means grain in the ear, just ripening (Exodus 9:31 Leviticus 2:14). The ripening of the grain is associated with springtime in Israel and when associated with the first visible appearance of the New Moon (the crescent moon) as observed from Jerusalem, Israel, it provides a clear sign of the proper New Moon to start the first month in.

Why is the New Moon observed only from Jerusalem, Israel? Why are the times of day observed only from Jerusalem, Israel?

Does not the Word of God reveal the house of the Lord your God, His chosen Holy place on this Earth, the place the Word of God in the Bible was revealed, the place Jesus was crucified, All is centered at one place, Jerusalem, Israel? A few verses from the Word of God confirm the Truth of this: "the house of the Lord at Jerusalem" (1 Kings 12:27), "altar of the Lord in Jerusalem" (2 Kings 23:9), "Solomon had built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem" (1 Chronicles 6:32), "come to the house of the Lord at Jerusalem" (2 Chronicles 30:1), "the house of God at Jerusalem" (Ezra 3:8), "thy temple at Jerusalem" (Psalm 68:29), "Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem" (Psalm 135:21), "the word of the Lord from Jerusalem" (Isaiah 2:3), "shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem" (Isaiah 27:13), "shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord" (Jeremiah 3:17), "the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem" (Daniel 5:3), "the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem" (Hebrews 12:22), "the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem" (Revelation 3:12).

The Word of God defines that a day begins and ends at sunset as observed from Jerusalem, Israel. (Genesis 1:1-5)

How is it known that Jesus died on the Cross at about 3PM?

In the Bible, the Word of God reveals:

From Matthew 27:46-50:

    • 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
    • 47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.
    • 48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.
    • 49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.
    • 50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

From Mark 15:34-37:

    • 34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
    • 35 And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.
    • 36 And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.
    • 37 And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.

From Luke 23:44-46:

    • 44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
    • 45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.
    • 46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

Jesus died soon after “the ninth hour” or about three o’clock in the afternoon.

Ok, it is proven that Jesus died about 3PM on the 14th Day of the Month of Abib, Passover Day. How is it known Jesus died about 4PM as observed in Jerusalem, Israel, on 28 March 2021?

The first day of the month of Abib, is when the crescent of the New Moon is visible and observable in Jerusalem, Israel and associated with the springtime ripening of the grain. The criteria for the observation of the New Moon is revealed in the Word of God: on the Fourth Day of Creation, as a sign, the Moon was made New (Genesis 1:14-19) and the New Moon crescent was observable on the Sixth Day of Creation, the day of Man's creation (Genesis 1:24-31) and the numbering of Days began.

The times of the phases of the moon can be found on many internet sites. One of many such internet sites, states the New Moon (full dark) occurred on Saturday, 13 March 2021 at 10:22 UTC and its beginning of lunation was at 12:15 UTC. In Jerusalem, Israel the New Moon crescent was observable after sunset which occurred at 17:46 local Israel time, on 14 March 2021. This makes the first day of the month of Abib from 14 March at sunset to 15 March at sunset, as observed in Jerusalem, Israel.

Since we know the first day of the month of Abib is from 14 March at sunset to 15 March at sunset, as observed in Jerusalem, Israel, we can then determine the 14th day of Abib by adding 14 days to 14 March, which makes Passover day the 28th of March. See calendar below:

The difference of times, 3PM to 4PM, is due to Daylight Saving Time started in Israel beginning on 26 March 2021.

As revealed by the Word of God it is the Truth that Jesus Died on the Cross in Fulfillment of all Prophecies at about 3PM on the 14th Day of the Month of Abib, Passover Day. That this happened TODAY, about 4PM as observed in Jerusalem, Israel, on 28 March 2021.

Few are familiar of the significance and importance of this day; that God even declared a "make up" day if one failed to observe it for a justified reason. In the Bible, the Word of God reveals in Numbers 9:5-14:

  • 5 And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.
  • 6 And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:
  • 7 And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the Lord in his appointed season among the children of Israel?
  • 8 And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the Lord will command concerning you.
  • 9 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
  • 10 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the Lord.
  • 11 The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
  • 12 They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.
  • 13 But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the Lord in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
  • 14 And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the Lord; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.

Wait! Isn't Sunday, the 28th of March observed as Palm Sunday by some that claim faith in God?

That is true. Most/All are deceived by their spiritual leaders, priests, ministers, deacons, prophets, etc. To what effect? To disobey God's commandments, knowingly or unknowingly - by deception.

The Word of God is the Truth. Does one follow the word of a Man instead of the Word of God?

Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. (Ezekiel 22:26)

For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. (Jeremiah 29:8).

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (2 Peter 2:1)

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. (Matthew 24:4 )

And Jesus said, the whole world and all nations shall be deceived (Revelation 12:9 Revelation 18:23).
