The sliver of the crescent New Moon was NOT observed in Israel on the evening of 12 October 2026 (the 29th day of the seventh month) just after sunset as was predicted (read here, here and here). By default (30-day limit), this makes the first day of the eighth month of the Biblical New Year from sunset as observed from Jerusalem, Israel on 13 October 2026 to the sunset on 14 October 2026.
Below is a calendar that reflects God’s appointed Holy Days (Leviticus 23, Numbers 28-29) based on the confirmed observation of the New Moon within Israel by more than two witnesses. Take it upon yourself to prove and validate these appointed Holy Days yourself, to "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21).
If you question why this is the Eighth Month of the Biblical New Year, first - READ YOUR BIBLE, and read this post.
The next New Moon is predicted to be visible in Israel on 11 November 2026, just after sunset. You can review predictive data and illustrative charts on multiple websites, some listed below at:
Moon Sighting UK Crescent Visibility Maps provides monthly Moon Sighting UK
In-The-Sky.org provides Moon ephemeris data
Israeli Society for the View of the New Moon or the Biblical Calendar Society
If you desire to use real-time simulated data to observe the predicted New Moon cycle, it is available in a program called Stellarium. Stellarium is free to download and use.
