Sailing/Vessel Dove is a United States flagged sailing vessel and is registered through the United States Coast Guard (USCG) National Vessel Documentation Center (NVDC), Falling Waters, West Virginia website.

The USCG Official Number marking for COD No. 600692 is on a new metal plaque, inside on the starboard side, above the navigation station.

One of the previous owners embedded the numbers (NO 600692 NET 9) in the forward bilge area and covered them with about 1/4 inch of clear epoxy. These embedded numbers fulfill the USCG 46 CFR 67.121 requirement, "The official number of the vessel, preceded by the abbreviation “NO.” must be marked in block-type Arabic numerals not less than three inches in height on some clearly visible interior structural part of the hull.
