Initial internet searches for the exhaust water mixing elbow revealed purchase cost of $900.00 to $1100.00 from Yanmar parts dealers. A Goggle search found an EBay offer at a cost of $400.00 and free shipping - this was ordered immediately to avoid it being bought by anyone else. The mount gasket was ordered through a Yanmar dealer and is addressed on a separate page.
The new exhaust manifold was received with fittings and a short hose already installed. However, the fitting locations needed to be swapped to match the current installation. It required a torch to heat the fittings to break them free and loosen them up. Applied both thread locker and high temp silicon gasket to threads and reinstalled the fittings. The exhaust manifold was now ready for installation on the engine.
