"’Tis the Season" is a common phrase usually associated with Man's holiday season called Christmas. Christmas is decreed by Man to be observed on the 25th of December and for some commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, while for others it is a commercialized period of excess and indulgences.
Few are aware Christmas was officially declared a federal holiday in the United States by President Ulysses S. Grant on June 28, 1870 {not so long ago} in an attempt to unite north and south in the aftermath of the American Civil War and their was much division on its validity. The origin of Christmas is subject to much speculation, but it is without a doubt that Christmas on the 25th of December does NOT originate from the Holy Bible.
The church in Rome began formally celebrating Christmas on December 25 in 336, during the reign of the Roman Emperor Constantine who also legislated that the venerable Sunday should be a day of rest for all citizens - directly opposing God's forth commandment, "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." (Exodus 20:8) Just as the death of Jesus Christ is declared by Man in opposition to the Bible - the Council of Nicaea in 325 CE decreed that Easter should be observed on the first Sunday following the first full Moon after the spring equinox; adopted and mandated by the Papacy, Holy See of Rome. Christmas is declared by Man to correspond to the traditional date of the winter solstice on the Roman calendar, Sol Invictus, and is a mandated holy day of obligation by the Papacy, Holy See of Rome in their liturgical doctrine and calendar.
Understand: The Word of God within the Holy Bible declares the death of Jesus to be on the 14th day of the first month of the new year, on Passover day (Leviticus 23:5); and the Holy Bible does NOT state that Jesus was born on Man's declared Christmas on the 25th of December. Man's declarations and traditions are not supported by any texts within the Holy Bible. READ YOUR BIBLE!! "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

As stated above, "’Tis the Season" is a common phrase usually associated with Man's holiday season called Christmas. It is also associated with the popular carol "Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly" written by Thomas Oliphant. The lyrics begin as follows:

'Tis the season to be jolly,

During Man's declared Christmas season it is commonplace to state, "Merry Christmas", "Happy Holidays", 'Tis the season to be jolly, etc., and to have a great feast - the Christmas dinner. Would not the devious deceiver strive to convince mankind to corrupt God's declared festivities and observe them not on God's declared Holy Day, but on a different day?
Ask yourself, does the Bible declare a day, shunned by both professing Christians and Jews, to be jolly and merry and to have a feast? A day to "mourn not, nor weep" (Nehemiah 8:9); a day to "eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared...neither be ye sorry" (Nehemiah 8:10); a day to "neither be ye grieved" (Nehemiah 8:11); a day to "to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth" (Nehemiah 8:12). A day that is "holy unto the Lord your God" (Nehemiah 8:9); yet the specific reason for it is not directly disclosed. A day of "blowing of trumpets" (Leviticus 23:24, Numbers 29:1). That day is declared by God to be "upon the first day of the seventh month" (Nehemiah 8:2, Leviticus 23:24, Numbers 29:1); and "a statute for ever throughout your generations".
